How these reports are made
- The whole field. Each report covers the published research in its field over the period shown, counted once even when it appears in several searches.
- Career levels from publication activity. Researchers are grouped from Early-career to Senior Leader by their record of published work — an assessment, not an official title.
- Totals only. No researcher, research group, institution or journal is named, and groups smaller than five are not shown. See the Privacy page.
